Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Taumārere aims to provide a unique education for our tamariki that is grounded in te ao Māori, and that develops the skills, knowledge and personal attributes that will prepare them for the future.  Our kura vision affirms the fundamental importance of te reo Māori to the core of who we are as Māori.

Te Pepeha of the kura defines and promotes the dreams and aspirations of our kura whānau and community for their tamariki, mokopuna from the time they are first enrolled at TKKM o Taumārere. Its proverbial wisdom requires that each individual at the kura is duly accorded respect, compassion and assistance in a safe physical and emotional learning environment that guides each of us to be truly awesome, independent and brave.
